with Ramanand Patel

Recordings of these classes will be available till December 31, 2022.
(updated March 6, 2022)

Two Sundays, February 6 and 20, 2022 via Zoom

10:00am - 12:30pm and 2:30pm - 4:00pm

The practice of asana can be divided into various levels such as physical, physiological, organic, pranic, sensory and meditative. As a yogi’s practice deepens, the student is encouraged to incorporate the practice of bandhas and with further maturity the subject of nadis and cakras is added to the practice.

The main emphasis of this workshop will be on cakras. We will look into the locations, significance and primordial sound of the eight cakras and their application to the practice of asana, pranayama and savasana. Time permitting, we will also look into some related aspects of Koshas, Shariras, Nadis, and Bandhas.

With consistent application of these beginnings, over time, the aspirant begins to access the deeper recesses of the mind. With a better understanding of the challenges and the potential of the mind, the aspirant then finds a clearer understanding of enlightenment, the ultimate goal of yoga.

Fee is $160 for the workshop; partial registration will not be accepted.  Attendance for the live workshop is limited to fifty students. Alternatively, you can request the recordings without attending the live classes for $160.

All students will receive the recordings of the two days and will have access to these recordings until California time midnight December 31, 2022.
